“The Coming of Spring” — was more than just a celebration; it was a symbol of renewal, hope, and change. On Saturday, 8th February 2025, The Foundation for Healthcare UK hosted its sold-out Charity Gala, uniting over 250 friends, donors, and partners in a shared mission to eliminate hepatitis and bring healing to communities most in need.
The event launched our landmark movement, #HepCEndsWithMe, representing a new season of action and awareness. Just as spring breathes life into the earth, this initiative brings renewed energy to the fight against Hepatitis C — empowering individuals to take part in creating a world free of preventable disease.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, £53,966 was raised, helping to launch two life-saving projects in Sindh, Pakistan. These initiatives will screen 9,000 people in Kotri and 49,000 in Qayyumabad, providing WHO-approved treatment to those diagnosed. In communities facing poor sanitation and limited healthcare access, this support means not just treatment — but the promise of a healthier future.
The evening was enriched by inspiring talks from Professor Graham Foster, Charles Gore, Philippa Easterbrook, and Mark Gillyon-Powell, whose words illuminated the truth: Hepatitis C is preventable, curable, and together, we can eliminate it.
Jashn-e-Bahar was a night of compassion, culture, and collective purpose — a celebration of new beginnings and the belief that change is within reach.
