The Foundation for Healthcare UK hosted its inaugural Young Professionals’ Charity Ball in aid of hepatitis treatment in Pakistan. The event, held at the elegant St Mary’s in Marylebone, London, brought together a vibrant community of doctors, entrepreneurs, and changemakers united by a shared goal — to eliminate hepatitis in Pakistan.
Supported by UK Medical Aid Pakistan and British Medical Electives Pakistan Ltd, and proudly sponsored by FiLLi Café UK, British Pakistan Foundation, and Spice Village, the evening raised an outstanding £41,400 towards funding vital hepatitis B and C treatment, awareness, and research initiatives.
The gala’s theme, “An Evening Within the Clouds,” celebrated the majestic beauty of Pakistan’s northern mountain ranges through a semi-immersive experience that transported guests to the serene landscapes of the Himalayas. Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, live music, a charity auction led by Judge Tan Ikram, CBE, and inspiring speeches, including a keynote address by Professor Graham Foster, Ambassador of The Health Foundation, National Clinical Chair for NHS England’s Hepatitis C elimination programme.
It was an unforgettable night of compassion, culture, and community — proving that when young professionals come together with purpose, they can create meaningful change.
